It's gorgeous - I really like the aquaracers. I have a ladies model in pink MOP with diamond markers and absolutely LOVE it!!!!

When I was in high school, I loved big watches - I didn't own anything fancy, but I always looked at watches and thought, no baby, I want an oversized one!!

But now, I actually own very small faced watches, all ladies models. I was interested in a Longines (one of the new sporty models) and was looking at those but they have only released the mens models at this stage and they were seriously huge! The watch face went waaaaay over my wrist. So I don't think I can really work the larger sizes now - funny how tastes change...:confused1:

The only thing I wish this watch had was a cyclops lens over the date like Rolex has. It makes seeing the date so much easier. However, I imagine that Rolex probably has a trademark on that feature, which would explain why you only see it on their watches. I can read the date okay though. The date was ridiculously tiny on the women's TAGs.

Come to think of it, I noticed this particular Aquaracer is quite similar to the two-tone Rolex Submariner with blue dial and bezel. I looked at that watch while in the store buying this one, but Rolex is way out of my price range. Even so, I think the blue color on the TAG is prettier than the blue on the Rolex. The hands are also easier to see on the TAG.

DBF and I match now (sort of). He just recently bought himself an Aquaracer too. However, his is the all-stainless caliber 5 automatic with black dial and bezel. That's also a lovely watch, but I am a such a sucker for the royal blue and gold combo.

Congratulations on your new watch! I, too, have the pink AquaRacer with diamond markers and LOVE it.

Men's watches seem to big for my wrists, but I do like how they look on others, so maybe it's just a matter of carrying the look off well.

I wear a gents GMT2 Rolex and I lurve it!! Specially in the summer with a tee and jeans!!! Mines all steel with black bezel and dial, could'nt afford a mixed metal, but I prefer all steel anyway so thats ok!!! I'm 5'6" size 6/8 UK sizing and I think it looks great, love guys watches on girls!!!

I love your watch! I love oversized watches. I bought the 38mm J12, which is really huge for a ladies watch... I guess it's considered "unisex", but I admit that the size isn't as feminine as the smaller 32mm version. I don't regret it at all. Bigger watches stand out more to me!

Love your GMT2! I love Rolex in general, but even an all-stainless model is more than I can afford. DBF has a an Oyster Perpetual Datejust in stainless steel with a rhodium dial. I so envy him!

I'm trying to narrow down my search for a Rolex but I'm not sure now what size to go for.

I know that lots of ladies were Mid-size or Men's Rolex's but I'm not sure what this would look like. I think my wrists are too big to wear a Ladies watch but I'm not sure if it would look silly if I get a Man's.

If you wear a Mid-Size or Man's watch can you please post a photo of it on so I can see.

Thanks

I remember Chaz had a good pic comparison

My mis-size Rolex is on order. I like the men's size on other people but not me. The ladies seemed a little small for now since everyone is wearing bigger faces. But I might like it as a second one down the road!

i have a man's cartier francaise, and i smashed it against a brick post...broke the crystal. i am heartbroken, and very afraid what cartier may charge to repair it. the watch is working beautifully, though.

i don't know how to post photos, but it looks pretty bad anyhow.

wahhhhh!!!!!

I'm not at home and don't have my camera now, but my everyday watch is a SS/18K YG Man's Rolex DATE, which is only 34 mm as opposed to the DateJust which is 36 mm. There is a difference in the size, but it looks like a DateJust. I love it because I can read the face without my glasses. I also have pretty small wrists and it's not overpowering or too heavy.
