after seeing all the fab bags wearing scarf and charms it has inspired me to do the same 
is it ok to use a different brand scarf with a different bag
eg Hermes scarf with LV bag
or should you stick with matching brand eg all LV

^ Can't wait to see your pictures! I totally encourage mixing and matching of brands! For example, my blue bag that I posted is from Marc by Marc jacobs but the scarf is LV and I think they look gorgeous together. I think the Hermes bags will look equally stunning with your scarves!

I would watch for anything with sharp corners. For the purse charms I make I am either very careful about sharp cornered charms, and/or I use more beaded dangles, for my good purses.
