Hello :) Can you suggest jewelry gift for my Mom this Christmas? She is 55 years old. She loves jewelries and it would be my first time to give her one. She likes simple looking and elegant pieces. She is not extravagant when it comes to clothing and jewelries. she does not care kuch about designer pieces. Simple yet elegant. That is her style. She loves earrings and bracelets. My budget is not to exceed 1,000 USD.

Earrings are lovely, I think the would make a nice choice for your mum.
Pearls are lovely and you can find some well-priced pearl earrings maybe?

Do you have access to kabana? Some of their mop jewelry is simple and elegant and well made. I'm addicted to their pink mop rose gold pieces but they also make similar pieces with different mop and metal colors.

Hi! I am reading your comments now :) I found this evil eye bracelet in instagram and thought of giving this as gift to my Mom. I understand that it means protection to the wearer. What are your thoughts?

Tons of people seem to have them on TPF and they are in general very eye-catching. A great gift idea!

A lot of the older generation tends to be more superstitious ( at least in my experience), which means she'll probably like it even more.
