I looked through my belts (I have 9 or 10 Gucci belts) one more after I posted here:

Annoyingly, most of the pics have disappeared over the years (not my doing)

None seem to be the unfinished leather, but I think Gucci make extraordinary belts. My guess is the leather will develop a nice patina and the edges will smooth after a while. It's a rustic look for sure.

The closest I have is the orange wide waist horse-bit belt (you can actually see that one on the thread) which is unusually rough on the inside. It's like a saddle leather, stiff and smooth on the outside.

Oh thanks PT! I should have update my thread, as I actually got the belt last month. I like it, the leather is unfinished and quite informal but I’ve also used on nice dresses and it looks great.
I got the thinner version, and the GG buckle isn’t too much in your eyes.
I think this unfinished leather will age very well, but one must be a lover of natural leather (like I am). If one prefers a leather that always look pristine maybe this is not the right one.
