Your DD looks soooooooo glamorous in your fur collar, bonny_montana. What a beautiful young lady. What a lovely gesture to give her your fur collar. Hope you get or make another one soon as I'm crazy about this look.

Hi Lillyhermes,
Your brooch is spectacular!!! I loved your look with the fur collar as a hair band, another twist would be wearing it sideways and tying it with your scarf in a bow in the left side of your neck... wouldn't look really chic? You are an awesome lady, congratulations.
As for my mother tongue is Spanish but I'm trying hard just to be able to follow my children efforts at school!!! thank you for your kind words and... try the sideways thing!!!

Thank you so much, mary. I do love that darn Medusa! And, I will try your suggestion with the "sideways" tie.

I just got my utterly fabulous gray fox collar from MaiTai today, so I'm anxious to try some new looks once I get cleaned up and out of the Christmas baking clothes (they are not at all compatible with elegant MT fur collars!:p)

And, all I can say is that your English is far better than my Spanish, most of which I've forgotten over the years, unfortunately.

You look marvellous to me!

Yes, you are so right, I would have loved to have seen you doing a balancing act with your camera!! Bet it was some show indeed!

And I LOVE the Medusa brooch, it has some much drama and elegance!! Just fabulous!

Oh, it was a show, indeed, chazie, and if Lily could talk, she'd tell you just exactly how foolish her "mother" looked. She probably thought I'd finally lost it!

And, thank for your complimenting Medusa too! She is pretty dramatic, but then I like a bit of drama once in awhile!:p

Bonny, what a good mom you are to give your fur collar to your DD. My own mom said yesterday that I could go thru her scarves and shawl drawer and pick out a few things cause she doesn't wear them all that much and I wear a scarf almost every day. They're not Hermes, but she's got some beautiful things, so who cares?? You moms are the best!

Lily, what a GORGEOUS brooch!

Thank you, shelby. Unfortunately, Elizabeth Locke jewelry is yet another passion!

Bonny - your DD is gorgeous!

Lily - that brooch is sublime - stunning and elegant. Looking forward to seeing your collar. I got a black, it was really a hard choice!

Thank you, bagmoma. And, yes choosing a color was definitely difficult, and now I think I want a black one too (although the gray is just beautiful - a very deep, dark charcoal gray.)

I actually had mine draped around my neck on top of a sweatshirt today when the postman delivered it, and it just felt so good that I hated to take it off!:p

Lilyhermes, what a lovely pic, you are gorgeous!!
Love the hat.

bonny, your DD looks amazing in her fur collar!! I would take it as a big compliment that she wants to wear it!

I had an antique French collar/cape arrive today!!
I love it, and will try to tie it with an H scarf tomorrow, dont hold your breath, I tend to do scarves a huge injustice!!

No, Raz - you are the lovely one for posting such a nice compliment! :blushing::heart::hugs:

Lily, you must look amazingly chic even wearing a kitchen apron... is it an hermes one? maybe a 90 Mushrooms or Spices? ;) I have ordered a fur collar from M.T. too, a black one as mine looked a little shabby. I'll be in the States for Christmas and I will be able to enjoy it then... it would be quite bizarre wearing it here in summer...:sweatdrop:
Have a great weekend!!!!

Ha, mary, if only you could see. I never wear an apron and tend to cook in a robe or an old pair of jeans and a t-shirt (always impeccably clean, though!) I have to be as comfortable as possible!:D

Great news on the collar order too, and enjoy wearing it while you're over visiting us.
