I always swoon over classic chic, MaiTai, which you achieved beautifully with this look.

I foresee hours of fashion work ahead as soon as I receive your black fox fur collar. Not only will I have to pour through my scarves in all sizes but I'll need to check out all my jewelry, as well, LOL.

No, I never have, mary, but it sounds like a great idea - thank you. I have a very large Elizabeth Locke brooch with a black Venetian intaglio of Medusa, which also featuers South Sea pearl and diamond drops. It's really over the top, so I could probably push it to the limit if I combine it with the fur collar.:D

Do you pin the brooch just below where the two collar ends meet in the middle?

Oh my word, this is so perfect... I've dug out my 100 inch pearls and they're laid out on a dressing table awaiting the arrival of my fur! :nuts:

I'd also planned to try out my farandole with the fur, thanks for the lovely modelling shots MaiTai, you're a gem :flowers:

And Lilyhermes, I LOVE your mysterious lady look! You don't look poorly at all, you look the picture of health and loveliness. You look better than I look on a good day! :laugh:

Mai Tai Just beautiful ............ perfection with a LBD :woohoo:

The possibilities are endless with the fox fur, maybe for a more casual look, say with
jeans/boots would a silver bracelet (chain d'ancre), or a horn piece, or even leather jewellery work as a fastening through the end loops? I wish I could show you what I mean but I only ordered one today, so am patiently waiting ...........

The collar is so versatile, look at LH creations ............... genius ::tup:

I got it now, mary. I'll definitely have to give it a try, and here's the Elizabeth Locke brooch I have in mind. It's about 2-1/2" in diameter, and the Medusa has been known to make small children cry! I love her, though.:p

Awww. chazie, you are too sweet! Someday, I'll post something else when I don't feel like "walking death!"

I wish you could have seen me balancing the camera on the plate rail in the dining room, setting the timer, backing up quickly and trying to pose appropriately. I almost took out Lily at one point!:p But, at least now I know it can be done even if with major difficulty! I know that you would have enjoyed the "show" though!

Oh, you are very kind, hypoxia. The power of concealor! At this point, I think I'm actually going to live, but at one point I was thinking of PM'ing our resident surgeon and asking for medical advice!

And you are simply not telling the truth, dear, as I saw a picture of you in your reveal with your sister, and you look very lovely. But, thank you so much for making me feel better!:p
