Diva, looking divine with your Farandole, the whole outfit is great! :woohoo:

Irish I don't have a Farandole although is first line of my wish list!! so we are Farandoless twins!!!:ghi5:
Btw, I've seen your pick of the shoes... grrrrreen!! of course

POUT! :pout: I wanted the green shoes!

I don't want to be those people - chamber pots and all you know.

Can I be Rita Hayworth? :D

Lily - I am VERY dramatic - I will teach you how to faint gracefully. :D

I know, irish, I was too late to grab some of those yummy shoes too. Darn it.

Rita Hayworth? Oh yes, of course. You've got the hair and the figure after all, so definitely - we'll call you Rita from now on.

I may take you up on "graceful fainting lessons" too!:p

Like your Playtime with Breloque.

How sweet, H-M!!! What a lovely and thoughtful gift.

My birthday is in July too and whadya know, I love raisin too! So can you just get two? kthanksbai!

(JUST kidding, of course)

I'm sure that sweet h-m has already ordered yours, irish. (Of course, I'm surprised to hear that you don't already have one, as I was sure you had captured the "Raisin Baybee" market.:p)

You look so beautiful, Diva!

irishlass - nope, you're not the only one. I'm still missing a farandole in my collection. ;)
As to the ulysse - consider yourself virtually gifted. :D

Yikes - the HFT (aka my personal chef) is screaming, so I really oughta :broom:...

Lovely, Diva. And, are you posing at Hermes or in your personal closet? If you say the later, I think I'll go hang myself!

And, I don't have a Farandole either! (Irish and I are going to "timeshare" one. She just doesn't know it yet!)

Oh!!! Timesharing! :yahoo:

I had a vert anis ulysse but gifted to a dear friend since I NEVER used it. I grew up never needing to write ANYTHING down. I used to have a photographic memory. Never even took notes in school.

Then 40 came along and ZAP *fried brain* Now I have a horrible case of CRS. But I still haven't managed to train myself to make so much as a grocery list. And if I did, I'd forget to take it with me.

IL - love your breloque!! Gorgy

Diva - congrats on your lovely Farandole - I wear mine nearly every day ;)

Lily - been wearing that EL much? :graucho:

Oh, no, bagmoma, I wore it once and ran my office chair over the poor thing  and nearly died a thousand deaths until I got the light grease stains out of it thanks to Katel's excellent spot cleaning advice and hand-holding. It's packed away safely for summer in a blanket of acid-free tissue and anti-moth sachets.

And, since it's hot and humid here, and I haven't had functioning air conditioning for the past eleven days, that beauty is going to stay wrapped up for the duration.:p

You're probably getting much more wear out of yours, though, right? (LGA just joined our little EL club too, and she's probably wearing the heck out of hers. I'm definitely envious!)

Oh, yeah, I always find my carefully written list on the counter when I get home from the grocery store. Then I play a little game involving how many items did I actually remember from the list. Each year, the number gets smaller!

That's EXACTLY how I do it!

And unfortunately, I look nothing like Rita, nor do I have her fantastic figure, but I always wanted to look like her and BE Maureen O'Hara. LOL! (With the cajones of Barbara Stanwyck. :D)

Gad, irish, that would be quite a combination. The perfect woman, I'd say. Now, we know you can pull it off!:p

That would be an awesome woman, wouldn't it?

The perfect man: 2 parts Gregory Peck, 1 part Sean Connery, 1 part James Garner, a dash of Dana Andrews. Mix well and then send him to me to "cook" thoroughly. :D (Oh, and just for flavor, add Warren Buffett's wallet. ;) )
