George Carlin passed away at age 71

I saw that he passed away when I turned my computer on this morning. I was shocked also. It makes me sad that he is no longer with us.

I was shocked to hear the news today. George Carlin was a super funny guy and I was hoping I'd get to see him live sometime this year. RIP.

Wow. I didn't know he was sick. We saw him live at his Y2K New Year's Eve show. Pretty spunky for an old guy. RIP.

I'm remember my dad making me sit down to watch one of his specials on HBO when I was in high school, I of course didn't want to because I was a teenager and had way more important things to do. I laughed my ass off during the entire show, he was hysterical what a huge blow to the comedic world no longer having him around.

Oh, how sad. He had such a way with words... he could take the most obscure thought and turn it into something poignant and thought-provoking. And, I don't even have words to describe the hilarity of some of his more crass topics. What a great entertainer!
