Oh so it was Colour by the Yard. I used to have the pink sapphire DBTY. It was kind of pretty but I don't think I did it justice. The diamond looked a lot better on me (more sparkly) so I ended up returning the pink sapphire one. For some reason I did not find the pink sapphire to be sparkly, but maybe that is part of its beauty/understated-ness?

I do like the look of the aquamarine however!!

I hope the one you ordered is nice! I am thinking about the Ross Simons one. I have one already, but it is a cheap CZ version w/ colored stones and I do wear it a fair bit.

I LOVE the tsavorite! It does look like it has a lot of sparkle, and the color is amazing. Very pretty!

Ippolita does a lot of gemstone necklaces in silver and gold. They are gorgeous!
I have a long yellow gold and citrine necklace with tons of different sized and shaped stones. It is my favorite necklace.

Pandora has 36" necklaces with bezel set cabochons in silver. They have them in orange moonstone, grey moonstone, carnelian, and possibly some other colors that I don't see listed on the Pandora website at the moment.

i found this too, i have the pink sapphire one stone bracelet as well and it isnt half as sparkly as the tsavorite version.

Well, finally I received my necklace. I find it kind of sweet and delicate looking, all-in-all I am pleased with it. It's not an "amazing heirloom" piece of jewelry by any means, but for the price it's OK. The gemstones are tiny, but nicely faceted and I like the look. I'll not be taking the Tiffany Color BTY necklace off my wishlist tho'.
