I absolutely love this ring - it reminded me that I had seen a silver (or white gold version) in Harvey Nicks last year and I have just emailed the store to see if they still stock them. They tell me that they dont stock the silver versions anymore but can custom make - I am waiting to hear back about the price. They also tell me that this can be made in white gold (without diamonds) for approx £1400. Thanks for reminding me about this lovely ring, I really want one too!!! But I cant afford the pave diamond one ; )

Please do post pics if you end up buying it.

I am hoping to buy the silver version but next question is.... what finger does this ring look best on? I have seen a photo of Nicole Richie wearing a gold version on her index finger, and also seen a photo of someone wearing it on their ring finger (4th finger). Decisions, decisions...... Mooks - what finger do you wear your ring on?

There was a silver one on Ebay with modeling pictures - you can search completed auction maybe? On the US Ebay site. As far as I know the only place in the US to get this ring is to order from the Garrard store in Soho where I got my silver necklace from this line.

Yeah, thanks for that, I saw the one on ebay - its got 1 day left to go. There is a garrard concession within Harvey Nichols in London and the approx price they quoted me for the silver is actually less than what the ebay ring is going for.... I am waiting back from them to hear the actual cost for silver but I think, I would like to get one custom made for me in the size I want..... but what size/ what ring finger is best ? :confused1:

I would wear it on my right ring finger? Like the finger next to my pinkey? (Why do I feel like I should know the name of that finger). But honestly I tried on this ring years ago and have no idea. I'm writing out my jewelry wish list and since I almost bought a different ring from H Stern I suddenly remembered this ring, e-mailed Garrard for a price and realized wow, its in my budget now - when it wasn't before.

I think the ring is gorgeous, it's the sort of piece that will become a signature for you very quickly. If you wear it on the right ring finger, which way does the wing go - to your pinky or to your middle finger?

Good point, maybe the middle finger is better? This thread is really making me want to take a trip to NYC!!
