Garnet or Blue Topaz? Help me choose!!

I like the warmth of the garnet. It's a beautiful shade.

Still, it's best to try them on with your daily rings and see which one suits. Bear in mind that you may purchase other rings in the future and either could suit in that situation. You may end up with both!

I would suggest the blue topaz for 3 reasons:

1. The pale garnet color does not look like garnet. Garnet is usually deep red. This one looks either like a different stone or like it is faded.

2. You want something that will work year-round. The blue topaz is perfect for that. In summer it suggests cool blue waters and cloudless skies. While it is not a traditional autumn color, it is a beautiful accent to many of the colors one often wears in autumn. In winter it is perfect because it reads like ice-blue. In spring it is the color of soft rain and lovely new flowers.

3. Most importantly, it is the color you said you like best. Go for it!
