Which stone do you like better? I like the blue topaz for summer, however I’m wondering if Garnet is more versatile for year round wear. This garnet is a more pink/purple than red.
I wanted to add some color to my everyday jewelry and I love mixing metals so this seemed like a good addition. Still have to try on, these pics are from my SA. Thank you! 🩵🩷

Loooove, the blue topaz!

Also, I find it pops whereas the garnet blends more with the SA’s skin tone. If you are similar in skin tone, that might be a consideration as well.

But my position will ALWAYS be - go try them on and buy the one that sings to you. Forget the opinion of some internet randos. :)

I find that with rings blue topaz shows dirt and oil from one's hands very easily. I wear a blue topaz ring for half-a-day and it already looks murky and has lost its sparkle. I'm constantly cleaning my blue topaz rings to brighten them back up. Otherwise they tend to nearly always look dull.

Don't have that problem with garnet rings. I can wear them for days without having to pull them off and clean them. I'm sure they attract dirt just as much as topaz rings do, but they don't show it. I tend to wear my garnet jewelry far more than my topaz jewelry for that reason.

I asked Chat GPT what it thought and this was its response 🤣🤣 it does have a point I suppose since I wear a lot of rose gold & yellow gold

What the actual F!

Go tell the Hermitage that blue and gold don't harmonise. Go tell the light blue sea of the Caribbean with the golden beaches, a Summer's sky with twinkling sunshine.

I love light blues and yellow gold. Aquamarines, blue topaz, turquoise all pop and sparkle with yg. Stand out.

Sounds like ChatGPT swallowed a Victorian rule book where they used to write all blondes to wear blue and all brunettes red. ChatGPT, everyone's favourite maiden uncle.

This is super helpful to know! Ty!

That garnet looks like pink tourmaline. If that pink color truly is the color, then I vote for garnet. Usually garnet is a deep red.
Garnets come in many colours. I have one that is pink/peach, one that is more brown leaning, a red like you said and a yellow. They're wonderful stones!

The garnet you have here reminds me of a pink sapphire. However I feel the topaz pops more!
