Depends on you and your needs - they are similar in function/style but the Delightful looks more casual and is easier to wear. I like the retro tougher lining in the Delightful because I want to be able to throw a water bottle in it or whatever else I need for the kids and not freak out I'm going to ruin the more 'luxurious' Galliera lining... I wouldn't feel as comfortable with a Galliera. I also don't love the big plate on the front, but I think that's just me. So I'd vote Delightful! And due to the lining and less hardware it's less expensive too. Bonus. :) (There is something about the cut off LV's too that still bothers me although I know it shouldn't) Both are very nice choices though, you really can't go wrong! :) I agree with the above ^ an azur Galliera would be very nice too!

I purchased a Delightful PM because I just thought I would LVoe it, but I don't. I like the way it looks on everyone else except me :crybaby:It just doesn't seem to "lay" right for me. No matter what way I fold it down, it just doesn't look right and I feel like I'm always wrestling with it. I'm thinking about getting the Galliera PM instead. Does anyone have both... do you like the Galliera better? Any pros and cons to the Galliera?

i love both, so i can't tell! The Galliera is a bit classier than the delightful, which is more casual IMO. Both are great bags, i couldn't live without them.
Cons for the galliera: the black marks. They removed the issue but the rings with the new plastic inserts leave some marks though. Then, the delightful stays better on your shoulder than the gal (it's maybe just me, but the del is more comfy to me). At last, i find that it's pretty difficult to reach into the gal, it's not very practical. But it looks so great!!

I would say, go to your store if you can and try them both in order to compare! I wish you good luck deciding :)

I really compare the Galliera PM to the Delightful MM actually, in relation to similarity of capacity and overall appearance. I had the Delightful PM and I didn't like it, just as you described. The Galliera PM is much better IMO and I now have this bag in Azur. It's beautiful and also is a great size and wears well on the shoulder. The Delightful PM is too loosey-goosy, too shallow and seems awkward if you put your daily haul in there. The Delightful MM is more adaptable and not as shallow, and I like this over the Delightful PM, but I prefer the Galliera over the Delightful MM. Hope that helps, and let us know what you decide.

I purchased a Delightful PM and returned it within a couple days because I couldn't get it lay right either. I ended up with the Galliera PM (which is what I wanted initially but it wasn't available during the shortage last fall) a couple months later. I LOVE the Galliera so much! It is somewhat slouchy but has more structure than the Delightful which I do prefer. It is more expensive but worth it IMO. Good luck with your decision!

I purchased the Delightful MM because the PM was too small for my needs. It is definitely a more casual style bag. If it's too casual and you want more structure, then go with the Galliera PM. It's a lovely bag.

i thought i was the only one with the folding problem on the Delightful. maybe the MM will "fold" or slouch better. maybe go try the MM and the Galleria at the boutique. might help...good luck!

i have the delightful pm and love it. I do know what you mean about it folding right. I get alot of compliments on mine but i do see some women with theres not folded right and i must admit, it doesnt look good. I have tried on the gal in person and it was very nice but for me the deal breaker was the black ring problem. I just could not bring myself to spend that much money on a purse that will get those marks on the vachetta. The gal is a very pretty and more structured than the delightful. I would go to the store and try them on again, maybe try the mm instead and then compare.

That's exactly why I sold my pm. I had to fold the opening before I go out every time! Also, I don't know is it just me,but the strap kept on falling off my shoulder, prolly bc I don't put a lot in my bag? Galliera is very nice, I also really want one but it seems a little high maintenance. GL finding the perfect bag :)
