Hardsided pièces means literally hard sided bags (although not always as sometimes they do make softside pieces with exceptional complexity such as LED keepall, that are referred to as hardsided. Most of the time they are the show stopper pieces on the runway and are made to order which means full deposit upfront and have to wait 6-12 months before receiving the bag…. Sometimes you have to wait longer than a year which is not unheard of. These pieces have unique code stamped on to it. I believe the code identify location made, date, and possibly buyer(this part I’m not sure). For this Fornasetti collab, the inflated hardsided bag, petite malle, and boite chapeau are considered as hardsided bags and they were available for order pretty much few days out after the show. I’m guessing the order period have closed.

For this collection, keepall is considered as soft bag thus they should make plenty of them to go around. I have no idea about the petite malle as that’s not a type of bag I collect or pay attention to so I have not seek out any info regarding that bag. Sorry. Maybe ask your sa? I know my sa doesn’t have much info or minimally she’s not allow to disclose to me.

Thx so much. I’m after the alma and/or possibly the speedy with the same design. I only started buying LV recently (online) since there’s no store close to me. I really love this collection but the service hotline has not been forthcoming with info. And you seem to not be able to call into a specific store (I’m in Germany).

I’m also from Europe and pre-orders haven’t opened yet here. I’m hoping there will be some more info soon.
