What a feast for the eyes!!!! Thank you, Tods!!!!! Since I have not yet been a member of tpf for year, I've only previously seen the SS08 postings you did. I had no idea you did this enormous job each season!!! They are absolutely gorgeous and you are such a dear to give us this treat.

Now, greedy girl that I am, I can't wait to see the cashmere GM's!!!!

^^ Indeed, we all know that a number of SAs visit tPF, and that can't be helped. But the real worry is when "the corporate" finds out. And the more SAs know about our little secret, the more likely Paris will hear. Just be vague. :p

^^^no kidding....people, pls - keep mum....don't print out pics, or anything!

Just say something like " I have a friend who knows a friend and she has described a scarf that is called XX that has XX on it that I would love to own"....this usually does it.

Mum's the word on pics! :-)

:tpfrox: TODS ROCKS!!!

We, as tPFers will be vague, discreet and keep mum on the pics!!!

Mums the word, but I still want to slap an Hermes exec or two upside the head for making it so difficult to not only find out what's made but where you can get it (IOW, needing a cooperative and helpful SA). Hermes is really the only retailer I've seen where the customer has to put this much work into getting what they want.

Some of the old timers already know this, as I have done this a couple of seasons now, but I'd like to remind everyone to please refrain from mentioning to your SA exactly how you got your information.

We don't think Hermes meant for the public to see those pics (or they would have made it easy). While it is a treat to see them early and get a sense of the colorways, there is every chance they will change their website once they found out.

I know what you mean but it IS still too early for AW2008 :p. What Tods posted is a real threat.

Right after the Feb podium, a couple of friends and myself went to see our SAs and nagged to see some of the pictures of potential new bags, and pleaded to know what's coming in the new season etc. Man, it was tough. :biguns:

OMG, Thanks so much Tods!! I need a cigarette(imaginary, bien sur) after all of that.:sweatdrop:

ITA, and for some stupid reason they don't want us to--gasp--know what's coming. Since everything is essentially a limited edition, how dare we care?! *G* Heck, it's hard enough to find what you want in the best of times without them making it that much worse.

It's especially hard to tell what you want when there is so much that is gorgeous and tempting. This thread is a dream because I can definately rule out the designs that don't interest me, think about what colours I love and what colours I don't yet have in my scarf wardrobe. Then it's a good idea not to think too seriously about it for a while because there needs to be that moment in the shop when you just gasp with admiration at something. It's good to do the research, but you have to leave room to be surprised.

Oh, and I've no idea where these pictures came from; just the magic of the ethereal interweb I suppose...................

Hello All,

I am new here but wish to thank Tod for the FW2008 line photos!!! Now making the decision on my 1st HS is even more difficult - Yikes! Which one(s) LOL.

Thanks again,

Stacy in the San Francisco Bay Area.
