65/35 Function/Fashion. I strongly prefer a bag that will help me organize my stuff, and a dozen little organizational pouches sitting at the bottom of an expensive black hole just doesn't cut it for me. Also, my work requires me to have the ability to drop everything to take notes and photos at any moment, so delicate leathers or exotic skins are not a go, at least for daily use. Fortunately, my aesthetic sense is fired up by useful things- to me, utility as a result of thoughtful design is what makes an object truly beautiful.
