Full circle shared-prong diamond bands....practical?

I went to Harry Winston to get my diamond band. Their rings are so sparkly it's hard to walk away from......

They said the most they can do is to take out a couple of stones; I didn't think that would be such a big difference so I didn't bother.

I will really know how it is once I get married and have it on.
