I know I'm thinking about purchasing that and the Hayden but I have never seen the small hayden in person. Do you have this bag or know someone that does?

No sorry, but I really love the Maise! If I had millions I'd buy it in more then one color.
The only criticism I have is that the opening isn't wide enough, but it isn't a big deal. It looks like the Hayden has a much wider opening. I personally like the shape of the Maise better, but that's just my opinion.

I have the maise and have tried the small hayden at the shop. The small hayden has more space inside that you can put in a lot more stuffs (i think it's the same size as the small beau bag) but it is heavier too. The small hayden's shape looks like a box, making the maise look more classy. If you prefer lightweight bags go for the maise.
