Fossil "ceramic" watch

Hi Ladies,

I have the black plastic version - I get compliments all the time and I love it but it scratches sooooo easily. I wish I would have gotten the ceramic version now, and will probably upgrade.

Resin isn't as hard as ceramic but it is durable. What will you be doing while wearing the watch? Will it be your every day watch? It won't fall apart on you or anything.

I clicked on the swatch link but couldn't see any details. Is it actually ceramic?

i'll be using the watch everyday...for that im sure resin will still be durable enough. i still haven't really decided yet on what im actually going to get (it takes me a looooooooooong time to decide as you can now probably see hehe) but i still am leaning more towards ceramic though, even though it is more expensive, i know that i still want to get one eventually, so i actually am going to save more in the long run if i go for the actual ceramic rather than just going for the resin. thanks for all your help GreekPharoah!

the swatch watch looks ceramic but it actually doesn't show any details as far as its material or anything. it just shows the picture, but without the price.....

FOSSIL as a brand is very good. They have well made watches at great price. I have never had any problems with my Fossil Purchase. Its good to gift aswell. Also, with the price they offer, if you get bored with a piece, its easy to say good bye.

I'm thinking of getting this watch ...

I'll need to order an extra link for the bracelet as it's snug on my large wrist, but I really like the ceramic finish. What does everyone think? All opinions gratefully received!

I think its beautiful. Its very different and I love Fossil watches. Go for it.

I have a very similar one with crystals. It is not ceramic but looks like it and is more resistant than ceramic. I absolutely love it and have received many compliments. Looks like a very expensive watch at a very reasonable price. It is definitely fun.

Thanks for the input!

I'm disappointed that I'd need to wait for extra links for the bracelet  my wrists aren't that big, but they are a little bigger than average and I hate my watches too tight. I can do it up but only just.

I'm hoping Fossil are quick at sending them! Has anyone had any experience of having to order extra links?

I think Fossil resin looks very cheap. The ceramic looks better, but it is still a very cheap looking version. I do like, love, adore simple 70 dollars watches from Fossil.
