I was walking past the the Fossil store today and they had white, black, and red ceramic watches in the window that looked just like the Michele/Chanel watches! I ran in and found out that they were actually plastic, not ceramic, but they looked exactly like the ceramic watches! I thought - what a great idea! Anyways, they were $105 with rhinestones around the bezel and 3 mini-displays with the day, date, and the 24 hour cycle on it. What do you think?

I believe Fossil purchased the company that makes Michele watches a few years ago, so that may account for the similarity.

I love my Fossil watch. I think it's great quality and it gets so many compliments at high end jewelry stores (lol). My husband, however, kicked it out of our shared watch box when he got a new watch. Just because it's not a million bucks doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be in the watch box!

I'm not a fan of ceramic watches (and that's a mighty large ceramic watch), but I do like Fossil products.

I was looking for a white watch as well and considered this Baume and Mercier. You just can't beat $299.

Thanks for the info! I've never purchased a Fossil watch before, but I figured since they made so many, they must be decent! I was actually looking for a much smaller face, but when I tried it on in the store, it really wasn't as huge looking as I feared. And it weighs nothing!

That B&M watch is a steal! Did you get it?

Yep! It so happens that my husband had actually put it in his checkout cart and considered buying it for Christmas (he's always on the site) when I emailed him the link. So of course he bought it. He's going to wrap it and I get to open it on Thursday.

I sneaked a picture, though! Naturally I'm wearing my very festive "Christmas Pants".

my sister has the above watch in black ceramic, its a great size for someone who's not too tall as well. she's 5'2 and its just the right size of "oversized" on her not too big not too small. she gets tonnes of compliments on it.
btw she originally wanted the michael kors ceramic, but it was too big on her so she chose this one instead.

oh wow thanks for the input Candice0985!
i also considered MK ceramic but when i saw it in person, it was a little too big for me (im 5'4"). though im not skinny, but still, the proportion was a bit off for me. anyway, i cant wait to check this fossil one out in person! if i decide to get it, i'll be getting the white one instead ! :smile1:

I have the watch the OP posted the link for. I got it last summer and it's held up very well. I agree that Fossil watches are very well made. I own several and am quite content! I'm glad to see a Ceramic watch finally! It's very cute and congrats to the ladies that have ordered it!

i finally saw this watch at the store last saturday....it truly is nice, just as it appears on the pictures online. however, i didnt like how the sides and all around the actual watch itself is stainless steel and it looked pretty thick to me as well :( i personally wanted it to look white all over. i can totally see how a lot of people will love this watch though, because i do love it too, but having the stainless steel on the sides of the watch kinda ruins the look that im going for....

so my search continues....*Sigh*

i did see this one watch and it truly has the look that im looking for, but it's not ceramic....
