For those of you with 05 Magenta - has it darkened?

I don't have an '05 Magenta, but I have to compliment you on yours. The leather looks really nice! yum!

HandbagAngel...why would you say something like that? It's pretty obvious it's authentic.

I have several '05 magenta items and by now they are all slightly different colors. The most changed one is a pochette that has darkened appreciably, though it has never been used. They all still look beautiful, so it doesn't bother me at all. All of them are authentic, as well. I wouldn't worry.

mine was darkened too~ i thought it is dirty or something. but it is darkened evenly~ so still looks very pretty to me~ i do not worry at all.

The mirror does look a bit brighter but I don't think I would have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. That bag looks absolutely gorgeous !

I am not kidding since I felt the color is not as saturated as 2005 Magenta should be. If you are sure it is authentic, Congratulation!

Nope, never put a drop of anything on there. I don't believe in it personally (though I know other ppl swear by it - to each their own ).

I also have a 05 Magenta city, I also think that it looks rather darker than when I first got her. I'm a little disappointed I like her better when she's a bit more vibrant than now

Given that I bought it from Balenciaga NY, yes, I'm pretty sure it's authentic
