Fob Bonanza! Run to Nordstrom Rack - Reveal!

I wonder why Coach decided to sell them to Nordstrom Rack instead of on the FOS and in the outlets? FP Delete fobs usually go very quickly both at the outlets and during the factory online sales and NR must have got them very cheap to be able to sell them so deeply discounted.

Oh well! I am glad that Coach sold them and NR bought them and I am especially glad that @Ravvie99 spotted them so quickly and posted the news on TPF! :happydance:

I hope NR continues to be a bargain Coach fob vendor in the future!

Ok, I just called both NR's near me. One had none and the other DOES have several that you've posted, but not all of them. Your photos were very helpful, as the Accessories gal was looking for specifics. Apparently they have lots of feathers, but only metal ones. No Baseman characters, but lots of smiley emojis in leather. Lots of metal hangtags (with horse and carriage on front), lots of padlock with keys, lots of robots with pink tops. They don't have any "found object" charms and they also have a few Rebecca Minkoff tassels. The gal was very patient with me but the store was getting busy and I could tell she was getting a little antsy with all my questions, lol.

I'll go check it out, because the $15 pink top robots (she said they had tons of those), are reason enough for me to visit. What great stocking stuffers they would make!

Hopefully, I'll be revealing a little FOB haul of my own in the next two days...thank you again!

And thank you, Ravvie99, as well!

"Found Objects" how interesting! Coach is certainly getting more artistic and unusual under Stuart Ververs direction! I am not sure that I always like it, but sometimes I do!

And I like to hang fobs on my bags, it adds some personalization and fun and it gives me a reason to buy more fobs! But I don't like it when the bag looks too busy, or junky, or the fob becomes the centerpiece - in general I like the fob or charm to be an accent.

And I don't usually care for skulls or fossils as fashion accessories but for some reason I quite like the Found Objects 65203 SV E1L fob! At $30 is was the most expensive item that I bought yesterday. The retail price was $145, so I am NOT complaining!

I am thinking of pairing it with my Black Legacy Bridget 11622. That bag has a lot of hardware and I've never added a charm to it because it just didn't look right. Most of my charms are flowers and butterflies and cute little animals and they aren't right for Bridget!

The Found Objects fob is the wrong color hardware for Bridget but they seem to work okay together. What do you think, is adding the fob "too much" and should I leave Bridget alone - or do you like the fob with the bag? I can't decide, help!

I don't care for the clashing hardware. I like Bridget by herself. She's got a lot going on. Alternatively, something really small and soft to contrast with all the heavy brass might be nice.

Good luck, I hope you find some goodies! Let us know what you get.

Thanks so much for the tip, katev, I popped into the Union Square NYC NR after work this evening and they had a lot! Not quite as many styles (or they were probably all bought up already), but still a good selection. I got the metal horse and carriage tag in both gold and silver, and the leather feather fob in yellow with a silver star and hardware.

Good choices, I am glad you got some nice ones!

Hey there! I checked both Racks near me downtown (State St. and South Loop) and no luck on the Rexy mix one! Did Oakbrook have more of those? Maybe if I call they'll hold one for me until I can get out there this weekend :-o

Did they have other good fob choices at South State Street and South Loop?

I only saw one silver rexy mix (Found Objects) fob at Oakbrook and that is the one I bought. But they did have a gold fob that had an orange skull and a small feather and a star and some other charms (a coin?)

Edited later: This is the gold skull fob I saw at Oakbrook NR

Aww, sadface.... maybe I'll have my mom check out the other burbs for me for the Rexy one :)
South Loop had absolutely none of them, but maybe they'll put some out over the weekend, who knows? State St. had way less than what you posted, they were all hanging on a wall display. Tassels, wishbone/feather, the stars, one googly emoji, the dahlia lozenge tag (which I bought for the 9.97), the big luggage tags, the shearling fuzzies, the cornflower feather one, the black/gold feather..... other than that nothing too interesting.

siiiiiigh, maybe I'll just have to spring for eBay's inflated price.
