How exciting that you are considering getting one! I vote for the classic! It seems so versatile! I am thinking of getting the classic WOC in black caviar but have not been able to find one anywhere! Anyone have any leads or an SA that would be able to hunt one down?? Thanks in advance!

Only outlying vote here! I vote seasonal. You can always get a classic later, but when you see a seasonal piece you love, you should grab it. I have two WOCs, neither is classic. I like to mix it up.
I'm going against the majority too. I made the same decision a couple months ago, and I bought the exact WOC that you have pictured. I didn't like the small cc's on the classic WOC. I LOVE my choice! The caviar is especially good on this WOC, and I have really fallen in love with smaller bags because of it. When I don't want the logo to be so obvious, I just turn it around.
I do like the big CC logo but if you want a bag that you can use forever, I would go with the classic. If you don't really care about that, go with what your heart tells you and get the one that melts your heart!
I wanted to get the 21C WOC. Basically, it is almost similar to the classic WOC, except that it comes with a slightly larger logo but it was a seasonal piece and I did not want the display piece (only piece left) so I ended up getting the classic one.
i have 2 classic WOCs and i would go for classic every time. i personally like that my daughter can use them in 10 years and that the style will still be classic and contemporary at the same time.
Yes!! I feel the same way! I have two and want one more because I have two daughters and if they each take one...I want to be left with at least one!
I would get what makes your heart really sing! If you love the 19 cc logo just get it if you know it will fit your style and purposes. worst would be if you get the classic woc and you’re still pinning for the woc with the more bold cc.
Note I when you Chanel in NY (soho location) and they said they didn’t have any classic woc in black... made it seem like it was very slim inventory for classic woc. Has any one recently purchased ?

I am from Canada and the Chanel boutiques constantly have them. There are a few to choose from too.

Yea I looked up videos and I’m gonna go see it in the store this weekend after I texted my SA. I’ve seen lot of ladies inserting a base shaper and it actually looks like a bag. I just like how versatile the bag can be and I’m going to a wedding soon so it’ll be perfect
