Just do your label through eBay (so then the tracking information is automatically uploaded) and send it off. I think you're making this way more difficult then it needs to be. It will all be fine.
DO NOT WORRY about from the authenticator to the buyer, that's not your responsibility.
Believe me not trying to make this difficult - I know about the auto tracking upload if using Ebay, that is why I am trying to do it that way but having a few snags. I usually have just gone to the PO and not familiar with Ebay and printing label. I'm not a huge seller. I don't want an issue and then have someone say - "you didn't insure? what did you think would happen if the item got lost or damaged"? Or "you didn't use signature confirmation - haven't you seen that noted in the forum a million times that this must viewable or you aren't protected?" I can't just write off $1700 if something happens.
AND- I am not really worried about authenticator to the buyer ... not sure where you are drawing that conclusion from. Sorry if that is what I led you to believe. I am just concerned about the item arriving at the authenticator's safe and sound.
