I'm with Dressage Queen. I initially thought I wanted a Birkin, but after I got a Kelly and a Birkin, found out I am a Kelly girl.

I still have the birkin (it was a present!) But Kellys are my favourite, and what I look for in the store. Who knows what you'll end up loving? There are a LOT of women who prefer Kelly to Birkin on this forum, it all comes down to what makes you happy!

Guess what!! I received a call from London H store today and told me that I may be able to have a chance to get a Birkin either 25cm in Turquoise or 30cm in Black colour. OMG, what I can do!! :s
I'm a bit wonder because people keep saying that we need to wait for long time to get a Birkin, how come this can be happened so easily??:confused1:
I'm a bit worry that if I didn't turn up, my name will be taken out from the list FOREVER!!!!!:ban::nospam:
Pls let me know if 25cm is too small for daily use? Also, not sure Turquoise is a bit too over the top and not easy to go with daily outfit. Pls advise.

I will have a few non-sleep nights before I go into the shop to get my 1st Birkin.

muistrawberry: woww!! congrats!! which hermes in london that you got your kelly?? if you said there are some kelly and birkin then i cant wait to tell my friend ... so maybe she can go check out for me....i live in US..but i have tons of friends there in london... i heard its less expensive there tho...whihc is good!!!

To be very honest with you, I am a no no Hermes VIP at all (not even have any Hermes leather item ever). :p
I just walked in and asked, within 2 mins, a Kelly "turned up".:yahoo:...
after paid and left the contact details, within 1 week, a phone call arrived :tunes:, and 2 Birkins are waiting for viewing...it's just a matter of right timing. Good luck to your "hunting".:tup:

oh! a 30 in black!!!! that's a great everyday bag...you are very lucky :D but you already have the kelly in black...i think turqoise is lovely also. be prepared that the bag will be tiny!

i stopped by bond street and i was told there was a waiting list to get on the waiting list or some such ;) made me appreciate my local store even more! :heart:

let us know what you decide...

I overheard from many people that "there was a waiting list to get on the waiting list or some such ", and this is the reason why I have to say I am really lucky to get the offer from the H store within a short period of time. Especially the Black 30cm with GOLD HW. :drool:

However, I have my dilemma, painful indeed:thinkin::
- If I decide to get the Birkin, ...oh poor me... within 1 week, 2 Hermes bags?? Over the top!
- If decide NOT to go ahead with the purchase, I can see the H Store will stop call me in future.

Hi, my apologies if I have made a mistake because the manager told me my purchase is in Swift, and I'm still confuse ( and being native, want to see if the bag is in "Box"...I have another thread mentioned about this). I paid GBP3690. Hope the info may help you to made a decision. :]
