Currently thinking of purchasing my first Tiffany necklace for everyday use. Which one is more comfortable to wear and which one is more classic? Would appreciate real life pictures/mod shots to help me consider which one to get. Thank you.

My very first necklace was the small silver open heart. My second was the small silver bean. Both are classics and purchased in the late 80s. Still in style and still sold today. Also both come in gold, diamonds and various sizes.

I recommend gold RTT heart tag necklace. I got mine this summer and wear it 24/7 since. I ADORE this piece. It works with everything ( I work in an office), you can wear it with the suit or shorts and t-shirt.
I don't take it off and it so comfortable, also it shines so much!
But I love RTT collection more than any other by Tiffany so I'm a bit partial

My suggestion (also what I have): t smile small. I think it lays really nicely. Has two length settings; 16 and 18in.

I don’t have comparison pictures of the open heart necklace, although you’re likely to find with a deep search of the forum, but I’m including one of the 5mm and 7mm bean an SA sent me, hoping it helps: the main idea is to be aware they are tiny in real life, that being said I have the 5 mm in rose gold and wouldn’t change it☺️. Hope it helps a little.

As far as your question, I personally have the bean and dbty in smaller sizes and really like them both, although I’m questioning getting a larger dbty (mine is 0.07 rg) - I don’t question the bean really as it has so much sentimental value, from a so dear relative who has passed away now sadly.

And enjoy the search and decision ! It’s half the fun☺️

Hi apologies I just double checked the (very old) conversation with the SA on WhatsApp, and yes at the time it was 7mm vs 9mm, apologies, I think I know where I got the 5mm confusion from (another project).
So mine is definitely 7mm.
(I don’t remember a smaller version at the time so it may be a more recent change the 6.5 vs 7, but maybe I’m wrong, the sizes in my pics are definitely right this time though ; but also checked my European Tiffany and as you say it’s 6.5 or 9mm now - I’d imagine it’s not a huge difference really 0.5mm).
My advice would really be to see them in person tbh.

In any case I did find scrolling up two mod shots from the SA of both 7mm and 9mm with a 0.07 rg DBTy, in case it helps
