Update…

My Panthere mini arrived yesterday. It is stunning however; the stainless looks smaller than the two tone I tried on in a boutique two weeks ago. Attached are photos. I have a small wrist and this size fits and looks more like a bracelet but it is lightweight which I like. I had the larger version of the Panthere a few years ago and I sold it because it was too heavy and I stopped wearing it.
Does it look too small for my wrist? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!
Can you read the time comfortably? It's a really tiny watch and I would take a size bigger, but it's up to you of course.

Yes, I can read the time but if I can’t easily change the time, I will exchange it for either the next size up or the small SS tank with the bracelet. I am so disappointed as I waited for this to be shipped from overseas.

I can understand you are disappointed, but it’s better to wait a little bit longer and get the one you love, rather than keep something you will regret.
You cannot go wrong with neither the larger Panthere nor with the Tank.
Good luck with your decision!

for those of you who have the Panthere SS : how do you find the wear and tear/scratching on the watch? the brushed finish of the TF is what is making me hesitate between the two

I have the ss in the Panthere mini. I love it! I have only had mine a short time but years ago I had the medium Panthere in SS and it held up very well. I wore it 24/7 and it did not scratch easily or if I had scratches, they were not visible. My SA told me that the scratches are more visible on the brushed finish (other watch styles).

I'm terrible at taking photos like this. Apologies for my gnarly hands, I'm sure it would look better on you. I am 5'5", 135 lbs. I bought mine when the Panthere was reissued and debated between it and the somewhat larger Tank Francaise. The saleswoman agreed this looked better on me. She said younger women tend to favor the Tank Francaise or Ballon Bleu, and I've observed it with my 30 y.o. daughter and her friends. I wanted a Panthere when they came out in the 80s but I was a poor college grad at the time. I like that it can be casual or dressy. I also have an Omega Constellation, another 80s classic, but I find that I wear this more. Hope this helps.

Do you own the Small Panthere? Looks so pretty and complimentary with your rings

I love both. I would choose tank for work and panthere on the weekends. If I had to choose one, I’d choose panthere.
I agree with this. The Tank has a sturdier, more businesslike daytime look, while the Panthere has a more jewelry, elegant look. That said, the non-diamond versions of the Panthere are versitile enough to wear as everyday watches, whereas the Tank is less elegant for evening wear imo. So I find that the Panthere (without diamonds) is more versatile.
