First Designer Bag... Know what I'm looking for, but not which specific bag

Please please consider the Givenchy small Pandora in black. Goatskin is more durable but the washed sheepskin is so cool, and grungy. Very very cool bag overall. It ticks all of your boxes, and you can wear it by the handle for going out. Other times just Crossbody is fine with the long strap.

I have the Givenchy pandora bag in small as well. It's perfect size. It can fit a lot

Couple of options would be Fendi By the Way, Chloe Faye, Celine Luggage Nano or Belt or Cube, Delvaux Tempete (which might potentially be a tad bit more expensive than your price range but probably is the most "classically edgy" bag on the list).

As a brand, Polene has many shoulder/crossbody bags that I've been looking at too.

They're all relatively understated with minimal branding, other than the luggage - most are not "trendy/in" bags, edginess level varies but they're all considered quite classic to me, comfortable crossbodied, light weight - depends on what light is to you but they're all reasonably light to me, and great leather.

So.... I know a while has passed since my original post and your reply, but I finally plucked up the courage and decided to go for the Celine Luggage Nano. I tried it on in person, and it felt very me. Now waiting for it to arrive and just thought I'd say thanks for the suggestion!

The Fendi By The Way is lovely - but I don't see many images of people wearing it cross-body (at least the medium size), I wonder if it's because of a wide base? The mini one looks very nice cross-body, but might be a bit too small for daytime use? What do you think?
Celine Luggage ones I like a lot, great shout! Actually way back when I was very close to getting the 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli bag which is sort of a dupe I guess?

I'm also quite drawn to the Mulberry + Acne Studios collab that just came out, especially they musubi bayswater bag, but the black one is only available in micro size which might be a bit too small for every day use (even though I do like my bags small...)

And the mini BTW bag is deceptive, it can fit quite a bit but not sure about the size of your items. How big is that Kindle you have? I see that you got the Celine, but this might be a good future bag. One of my favorites in my collection.

I have mine in dove gray (a taupe-gray color). I would think the kindle would just fit. The mini BTW is 8"L x 5"T x 4"W. The strap drop on the longest setting is about 23.5"L. The kindle would definitely fit in the other sized. Not sure what the strap drop is for those are though.
