First Cartier watch: Panthere or Santos?

Btw can you switch to a leather band with the panthere?
I know the bracelet is one of its unique features but just wondering if we have the option for leather band.

If you mean switch bracelets at home, no you can’t. Not sure if the store will sell you a leather bracelet and switch it for you. But the beauty of the panthere is in its bracelet in my opinion. You really need to wear it to understand. The watch is so slim and sleek it feels like an elegant bracelet (vs a rolex which is quite chunky). Did you look into Cartier’s latest watch release? Pasha de Cartier. This one comes with 2 bracelets that you can easily switch. It’s a gorgeous watch (I especially love the rose gold with burgundy bracelet or the yellow with navy). It is very different from the Panthere but worth looking into if you want to have the option of a dual bracelet

Santos. I’ve never been a fan of the panthere and think it looks a bit dated. JMO of course. I think the santos looks quite feminine on the wrist.

I actually was going to ask you about the bands for the panthere did the stainless steel vs the two tone band feel any different on the arm at all? I noticed on the website the back of the gold links look a bit different than the stainless steel (me being OCD examining every single details ).

No I don’t remember the 2 bracelets felt any different. I went with the SS because I liked it better. I personally find the panthere most beautiful either in full SS or in full YG (the small YG is so gorgeous but obviously it’s a different budget).
As for the Santos I love it in dual SS/YG because the small screws in YG give contrast to the bracelet.

I got the medium in stainless steel. But if I were ever to get the YG, it would be in the small size.

I have santos Dumont I think it is best cartier watch second option tank this is my opinion.

I really like the last Panthére on you. I personally have a small one and I just love it. The strap feels so sensual, it’s a pleasure to wear.

But it also depends on your personal taste and Style. All of the watches are beautiful pieces.
