Fiorentini & Baker Eternity Boots

Ive been eyeing on the Nena too, I tried the 6.5 at Barneys before & they're perfect. I'm looking for the black leather in 6.5 but most places only have it in full sizes. I wonder if the size 7 is too big.

What's your typical size in US sizing?

I was told in my local store which carries F+B that flat boots run large but the ones with a heel are true to size.

If anyone is still watching this thread, I could really use some help on sizing of the Fiorentini + Baker Eternity range.

For comparison, I'm a 38 in Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo and a 37 (or 7) in Frye, Officine Creative and AS98...

I bought a pair of Eternity 713 boots (or something similar) in a 37 and they're big - a little 'clowny', actually!!! I also tried on a pair of my friend's Eli boots in a 37 and they fit the same. Here's a photo of the 713s next to my Frye Engineers and Officine Creative boots.

Can anyone offer an opinion on whether I'd likely be a 36 or 36.5? I understand the F + B boots are a little pointier than the other two...

I know this is a little bit of a crazy way of deciding but I can't try them on anywhere and any advice would be great! Even if someone with a 36 and/or a 36.5 could measure the outsole and I can judge the difference between them....

I’ve noticed that the soles aren’t all created equal. I have some with a brand imprinted in the rubber and some that are completely smooth. Can someone please explain this to me? Is it the date of manufacture? Is there a difference in the fit?

I have the ones on the left and middle. I’m curious if the one on the right will fit the same.

Are they all the Eternity style? I have them in the 1st and 2nd sole style and they fit the same. Never came across them in the 3rd. I think the second pic is the newest sole style. If they were cheap enough I would buy them and hope for the best.

Yes they are. 3 Buckle style with the “D” shaped buckle. I have the first 2 and they do fit the same. The third look a bit more narrow in the toe to me but I haven’t asked for measurements to compare. The ones I have were bought second hand so I have no idea when they were made. I’m afraid to take a risk and get stuck with them. Lol!

Has anyone had this happen? Both of the heel caps fell off over the weekend!! I did get them used, but for the quality of the boots and for this to happen, I was sooo disappointed! It’s like they were just glued on.

Its happened to me on new boots after years (about4 years.. the heel that pooped off were worn unevenly ) I had new caps put on by a cobbler. IIRC it was 40$ for the pair.
