hi there... i see you've finally narrowed your choices on the eternity!!!

I would go with leather... but that's just me.. suede is more luxe looking for sure but not as durable..

My eternity ( chocolate leather) have seen rain, snow, mud and its still alive... but vintage looking .

I think you will get more bang for your buck with the leather!!! and again, that's speaking for oregon weather...

how did your suede shoes hold up in the past? do you also have bad weather condition in where you live?

The suede is gorgeous, but I would worry about how it would hold up in bad weather. I have these in black and in taupe leather, and I love them. They age beautifully.

Did you check if Ped Shoes has your size in the leather?

I have mine in black normal leather, and I've seen and tried on the suede as well... But I opted for the normal leather at the end... With suede, I didn't think it looked as nice as the normal leather, and I would imagine the normal leather would age better too... I've had mine for 2 months now (just about I think), and they look even better worn... Hope you will go with the normal leather ones... (And I am planning on wearing them in the spring time too!)

How do your SO's feel about your flat Fiorentini Eternity's. Do they cringe or do they think they're hot, cute, etc? I'm all for wearing what you like for yourself, but within that I know what my SO likes and what makes him think "Meh".

Currently, all my boots are heeled to varying heights and I'm eyeing a pair of Eternity's (to wear primarily with skinnies or casual dresses) and would love to know if these boots rev your boy's engines.

Any reactions would be appreciated.

I am actually seriously considering buying a pair of Eternity boots. I was going to get the Elis but I think I may get the Eternity boots instead. They are so DIFFERENT, and unique! I love how you can make the straps looser and how the boots look with skinny jeans and leggings. I plan on wearing them while walking all over NYC. As for my SO, he saw a photo of them and asked me if I was planning on going into combat any time soon LOL But with all these types of things, I don't listen to him LOL
