So being in quarantine is really bad for my bank account 
I have always wanted a turquoise right hand ring - was considering having one made with an existing stone but it would be too expensive at UK prices - and after looking at some inspiration photos on here knew that the stone would need to be sleeping beauty turquoise 
I found this beauty on Ebay brand new from TJC/Iliana and am in love!
4.30 carat AAA graded oval cabochon-cut sleeping beauty turquoise, set with 0.26 ttcw SI/G diamonds in 18k yellow gold.

I have two rings set in yellow gold with diamonds. The first one is blue while the second one is more green.

I love the look of NA turquoise jewelry but I’m not a silver girl. I don’t think white metals look good with my coloring (and I’m came of age in the decadent 80s) so yellow gold is what I wear.
I mentioned the Horta auction house in a previous post...as it happens they have an opal and turquoise pendant coming up in their next auction. It's vintage (1922). Yellow gold, main stone is opal, smaller stones are turquoise plus some small diamonds
I have completely fallen in love with this gorgeous Sleeping Beauty turquoise and diamond ring. My husband seems to think it's a little too 'out there' and extra. What does everyone think? I think its beautiful and very classic.

I decided to sleep on my decision and I feel the same - I was drawn to the beauty of the stone, but I realise I'd love it much more in an oval or rectangle shape with a more minimalistic setting
my search continues.
