Great video. Your bag looks lovely. I have heard great things about LS, and have a few vintage bags in near perfect condition that I want to send for freshening. Gary at LS advised me that it's good for a vintage bag to be freshened for preserving.

I stumbled across this today. I sent a chanel maxi flap off to the leather surgeons about a week ago and was told that it would take 3-4 weeks—but was contacted Friday saying it was already ready! I’m hoping my results are as impressive as yours!

Hey I'm so sorry I wasn't getting alerts for this thread! I heard the same and I think it's a good idea as well. If it starts to feel dry time to send it in! :)

Fingers crossed for you!! :) Best of luck, make sure to post when you get it back.

Hi Ladies!

Maybe you remember I made a thread about a month ago regarding my experience with a dented bag from Fashionphile. I had purchased a pretty beat up Medium flap with the intention of having it restored by Leather Surgeons, and I promised to do a reveal! The work on the bag was done quickly, but I was on vacation and couldn't film this. Because it turned out so good, I wanted to try my hand at making an unboxing video (which I linked below). IMO the results were amazing, so I really wanted to share here! I couldn't believe it when I opened the box and saw the bag looking brand new.

Here are the pics:

They did a wonderful job on your bag.
The did a horrible job on mine!
I cannot attach photos because my phone app isn't working, but they basically spray painted my bag a funky color that doesn't even match the real color. It is horrible!!
I contacted Gerry and he is unresponsive. I will take him to court if he does not respond. I could not believe my eyes when I unboxed it. the before and after photos really show the depth of the screw up.
Never again!!!

My bag was in awesome shape when it came back. I'm not gonna fiddle with pics because literally all I had them do was restitch the gussets on the top. But I was extremely impressed with how quick they were to reply to emails and how well my bag came back repackaged! They also included an authentication certificate with the bag, which really impressed me! I had heard they did that on every bag they get but wasn't expecting it necessarily because my repairs only cost about $150 and a good send off authentication service is usually $100 on its own. They are a fabulous value! I'd definitely use them again.
