Hokaplan, the YM does not come in an all steel version. You can get the SS/Platinum (which is what she has, and I have as well) that has the platinum dial and bezel (no other options for this one) or you can get SS with a yellow gold bezel and center band links, which has dial options of silver, gold, white with black onyx markers, blue, white with some gem marker options (not sure these are still made, but you could check into it or look for an older model), or black mother of pearl dial (which will add around $2k to the price).

ETenebris - I'm sorry - my kids were making noise! I meant the ss/platinum. Still wondering about mm size of ladies verse mid-size. Perhaps you responded on other thread. Why are you not happy with your yachtmaster?

Oh, I love the Yachtmaster, but I can't really justify having both...or afford both! So I may sell the Yachtmaster to fund the Datejust because my AD doesn't do trade-ins (I need to check with the other AD in town, IF they have the watch I am looking for, I guess). The Yachtmaster is definitely the perfect size and sportier. I did respond to your other questions on the separate thread. I think we have three going now! :D
