They are gorgeous and look perfect on you! I wish I had kept my 1ctw studs when I upgraded to 2ctw. I had the smaller size made into a ring but sometime feel the larger size are a bit "much", especially when I'm just running around with the kids!

Ha ha funny you should say that I've been doing that all day, I nearly crashed the car earlier because I was too busy looking in the mirror checking out the sparkle :graucho:

I had to chuckle at your comment! I got my first pair of diamond studs almost 17 years ago when my DH and I were celebrating our first Christmas as a married couple. They were only 1/4 carat total weight, but I loved those earrings and wore them almost every day. Then one day about 12 years later, DH was looking intensely at my ears and said, "Why are your earrings so small?" I replied, "Are they small? I hadn't noticed because I love them so much. However, if you feel I should have bigger diamonds I won't say no!" A few months later DH gave me my current pair (1 carat total weight) as an anniversary gift. I absolutely love them! I'm saving the 1/4 ct earrings for my daughter.

Thanks sweetie....... I'd love 2ctw & maybe someday my wish will come true but I'd set my heart on nothing smaller than 1ctw so I'm pleased I finally managed to get them, I bet your earrings look perfect :D

Oh that is such a beautiful story & your 1/4 ctw studs must mean so much to you & what a beautiful idea to give them to your daughter....... If I'm ever lucky enough to own any bigger I'll always keep these because there my first pair of diamond studs but for me 1ctw is just the perfect size for day or night :D
