I understand that a bigger face is appealing nowadays. I'm attracted to the larger watches now too. However, the story attached to your Rolex is so lovely that I think it makes the watch very special. Why not try on some completely different styles for your alternative watch? The Cartier, as you say, or maybe a J12?
I am currently lusting after the Omega Aqua Terra 34mm. I also like the white Omega Planet Ocean. I think that the Planet Ocean is a little too big for me though.

I love Tags - great watches and great selections on the Omega Aqua Terra - love it. I have an older SS Link that will stand up to anything - amazing watch. Just get the battery changed every few years. I also have this one (pic attached) which is why I don't want the Oyster band in the Rolex.
