So, went browsing the Rolex watches again yesterday and found two beauties I like, but feel a little bit like I'm re-inventing the wheel. I currently own the first Rolex in the picture below - it's the smaller size and has a meteorite dial (hard to see the meteorite in the pic - my father gave it to me, so it's sentimental to me even though I don't wear it much). But I want a mid-size 31mm ladies. I like diamonds, so I decided against the white dial with roman numerals. I found two - one with MOP diamond dial (2nd pic)and the other with the silver dial (3rd pic). Do they look too much like what I already have? If I get the oyster dial, it will look too much like my Tag Aquaracer two-tone.

I don't really want an all stainless steel because so much of my jewelry is yellow gold. The presidential gold is out of my price range right now and the MOP borders on it as it's about 3k more than the silver dial. But do you like the silver dial?

Purseforum genies - give me your foresight on my next Rolex!

I too like the silver dial best.
But they are both so similar to the one you have.

If you want a different two-tone, why not go for a different bezel ring and an oyster bracelet?

Me too. I think that the watch you already have is perfect for you and that there is no need for another one. Congratulations on the watch that you already have!

Hmmm, maybe the BB cartier then....

I do love it - my father bought it for me when I went to visit him last summer. It was the last time I saw him when he was able to get around. He passed away this February :( :( Everytime I wear this watch I think of us going out to purchase it together.

It's just that for watches nowadays, it looks so small, and that's why I don't find myself wearing it much.

I understand that a bigger face is appealing nowadays. I'm attracted to the larger watches now too. However, the story attached to your Rolex is so lovely that I think it makes the watch very special. Why not try on some completely different styles for your alternative watch? The Cartier, as you say, or maybe a J12?

I am currently lusting after the Omega Aqua Terra 34mm. I also like the white Omega Planet Ocean. I think that the Planet Ocean is a little too big for me though.
