Fell down reg JUC: stay with it or sth else?

Got some news and ideas from two SAs of mine. They suggested wearing something soft in between the JUC and the rest of the jewelry. So any ideas here? Any soft bracelet type thing?

Just to clarify: The JUC DOES harm other items. Two of mine were massively scratched by the JUC.
The trinty cord bracelets are soft. I see people poking the nailhead under the cord and everything stays put. Would a tennis bracelet be soft enough? The material is off course solid, but it's not a bangle type of bracelet.

Update: Just received the new replacement. Perfect service from Cartier. The box, however, arrived in a somewhat bad shape.

3 Diamonds are fluorescating. Yes, we know Cartiers diamonds are *very* subpar. At least this issue is now settled and no, they did not tell me what was wrong with the other JUC.

Good question. Started accumulating some Richemont stock as I was more into watches before I discovered that Cartier also belongs to them :flowers:

So I went there looking what they / "we" as being "my" company offer and fell in love. I truly have to admit that they sell lovely items . Just the quality of the diamonds sucks. Even my SAs were deeply shocked as they did not know before I've shown that to them. Also they could have done better with the screws on the Loves. The European webshop is a total mess - unlike the US version which I adore. And in need for some pure chaos?: just deal with their web-operations in Amsterdam. Talking to a lot of their employees I know a bit behind the scenes which also is not really encouraging.

On a positive side they *really* care about their customers and their craftmanship is second to none. Also many of their European employees are goldsmiths and not just salespeople. Dunno in the US and Asia - probably less there. I like so much to talk to them and learn about the details. Imagine go to LV or Gucci and ask them about how they manufacture their items. Cartier people go the extra mile and I even got some help I never anticipated. Not sure if it is known but their training is one of the best. This for the nice side of it.

So do not get me wrong, I'm not bashing at Cartier because of any fun for it. I'd just wish they do a better job in some areas. Already gave them so many ideas on how to improve but to no avail. Should talk directly to Mr. Rupert if he is not too busy with his vaccinations

We are somehow o.t. but just summarizing:

- use high quality diamonds *with* certificates troughout - should be standard these days
- move their US webshop design to Europe
- address various issues at their operational structure (longer list here)
- get the srew mechanism working on their Loves (and JUC?)

Would be a leap forward

Thanks for the detailed response, this was an interesting read!

@scheurin, This thread and your detailed responses were so interesting and informative, thank you! I’m a fan of the ecrou, the clash and the santos, but it should like you made the right decision for you (I also believe in consulting and relying on the advice of SAs that know you well). I am also a cartier watch person, and when I was exploring whether to branch out into bracelets, an SA also mentioned that Cartier could also make a bracelet from a current watch link in the collection. I didn’t pursue it bc I am going in a different direction (verdura cuff) But it might be food for thought. i Love seeing stacks on other people and yours sounds amazing.

Is all the cartier jewelry made in Europe?

As far as I know Italy, Switzerland and France. Boxes from Thailand.

Champagner from France , the chocolate chips from France, too, which is not a good idea.
Thank you for the reply! I am hoping to buy another Cartier piece and hope the quality stays good. I was very interested in this discussion because of the diamonds. The 2 pieces I have do not have any diamonds, but I want the JUC necklace with diamonds in the head.

Cartier's quality is fine, no worries and they stay behind their product. As I pointed out in another thread there are a few flaws like Love bracelet locks and the quality of the diamonds which they need to address.
