thanks for comment. yes you remind me the dark brown wood cupboard, doors....etc of my home in the 70s:biggrin:
i am not sure which brown is my K32 coz it was bought pre-loved. i just found that that my mostly used work horse bag are actually brown tone, dark brown for A/W and etoupe for S/S. these 2 are so easy to match with any outfit especially the earth tone are on-trend now. pic again fyi. Tks again.

These just prove what I said before. Nothing makes good leather look better than shades of brown :tup:

View attachment 4697560 I have mix feeling on my brown bag, it can look a bit 80s and you can see the retain value of brown is always less than the other earth tone in the Hermes resell market. But on the other hand I found it incredibly easy to match with my black white grey navy outfit. Here is my work horse brown Hermès Kelly 32. Tks for letting me

i think brown is perfect neutral. I like your brown kelly and brown bags in general. I am attaching pictures of my brown bags. My ostrich Kelly is my favorite bag and she is an older bag in my collection.

Brown is not my favorite color for bags, but I do appreciate a warm medium brown. They are actually a bit darker than what the camera picked up. I don't use these bags very often, but they are a permanent part of my collection. The 1st one is Coach from 2012 (I think) and the 2nd is Dooney & Bourke.

Wow those are some awesome bags! Love that Dooney!

Here are my browns, since the "shopping your own" thread just did Brown week. To me these are staples, I carry them anytime I am not wearing black.
Hermès Birkin, Garden Party, Kelly 25, two Kelly 28s (one is 67 years old!) and an Evelyne TPM.

Just mouth watering..how do you choose? These look like H gold (except for the dark brown..is that chestnut?) but I think they have other names?

Gosh look at that sheen! Love the plume! Do you carry it zipped? I am kinda lazy and carry it more like a tote

Thank you

I keep it zipped. I suppose it's because I often take it to work (or did before C-19) so don't need to get in and out of it too often on the trot. If I'm in the office it doesn't matter, but for meetings or appointment it stays zipped except first and last thing. Actually, that's a device I use so people don't keep me 1. Pleasantries 2. Everything needed on desk. 3. Meeting 4. Wind-up 5. Everything back in bag - bag zipped 6. Out the door. The Plume is a good bag for that.

Heh heh that’s great! I can just picture that entire scene. Very effective!

I used to really like brown bags but seem to be not in the mood for them these days. Not that there aren't some very beautiful bags on this thread....I'm sure some day I'll see a brown bag I want again but for now, it's more grey, taupe or black for me.
