Thanks! I love my colorblock Rory. I got her at the outlet not long ago. She was 40% off retail so not my best bargain - but worth every penny!
Here is a pic of her decorated with my ice cream cone fob and with the mahogany Madison needlepoint double zip wristlet/wallet that I bought to go with her.
My only issue with her is that she is rather heavy - that's why I like to use a fabric wallet that will cut down the weight.
I wear her as a shoulder bag and that works well for me, but she might be kind of big and heavy to carry as a satchel.
But then I am short, so perhaps a tall woman could carry Rory as a satchel with style and ease! She's a real beauty however you carry her!

I have so many of these satchel styles. I couldn't pick a favorite.
First gen Caroline's became my fave, with sophia as a close second. (Don't care for the new caroline structure or silhouette so much....Just my personal taste). Glad I collected lots of the first gen releases, and I love the 70th anniversary pieces I got the most 
You all have beautiful bags! I was hoping for one or two that everyone agreed on to make decision making easier, but I should know better. 
I'm thinking I need to have a shoulder strap to ease into it. I do have a Willis and I mostly carry it on the shoulder, but I'm easing into the satchel thing lol. I'll just keep searching in the meantime....

To the OP, I was talking to a friend of mine who is an SA and he actually told me that the sophia is completely sold out in their system all over the country, so there is no way for them to order it, and they wont be in production ever again, which is heartbreaking because it is such a beautiful bag, but im not sure if there is a mff version or not? He also told me that there are very very few lindsays left at all in the warehouse/system so if that is one you really like, I would definitely see if you could order that asap!
Favorite satchel??....right now I'd have to my fav satchel is my regular SeaMist Preston. Even though the bag comes with a longer strap I mainly just carry her as a satchel. The handles are short and my arms are big so I can't fit in my shoulder without the bag being wayyyyy close to my armpit and that just looks too funny😂😂😂 I love how the bag opens super wide and how it can hold so much!!
I do love the Sophia's though too!! I had the small/regular size ones and even though they look SMALL they can totally fit so much!! I have a large Sophia in my collection right now and I love it too but I mainly carry it on my shoulder b/c it's the larger version I can fit it on my shoulder...same with the Lindsey!! A n/s version of the Sophia and the bonus on the Lindsey are the zippered pocket in the front
I'd suggest you def start with a bag that is super comfy as a satchel annnd on your shoulder. The Sophia's/Lindsey's are kinda yucky looking carrying it on the shoulder BUT that's just how I feel...if you love the Willis bag and I'm guessing you wear it crossbody then maybe you can get a Baby Sage?? It's my favorite crossbody bag annnd it's an amazing satchel!! Has a front pocket and is a great size to start off with...not too big but not small either ^_^
