Congrats on your lovely wristlet. I got one too from farfetch and it did not have an authenticity card either. I guess wristlets don't come with one. It should be fine  .

Thank you! It came from Kering S.A. Which looks to be a distribution center in New Jersey which owns YSL, Gucci, etc. I feel better after the feedback everyone gave. It does have info as far as a sticker inside the box, but that’s it. I agree with you as I don’t plan to sell, but it would be authentic if I ever did.
I just ordered a clutch myself on Saturday but in the Mixed Matelasse Grain de Poudre. I just got a FedEx notice that it’s coming on Monday from the same Kering SA center in NJ. Very impressed with the speed of shipping from Farfetch! I’ll let you know if there’s a card. I previously had a small Puffer that I ordered from Nordstroms a couple of years ago and that just had a dustbag, no box or authenticity card. They really should start a thread on the clutch/wristlet because it really seems popular on YouTube, especially with converting it to crossbody

Congratulations and yes I agree this piece should have its own thread!

Update. Confirming again that the tiny black envelope with bag is just care info. There is a small slip of paper, but again that mainly identifies the type of bag, the year it was made, and other features.
There is only one section of the row of number on the white card that matches the middle section of the serial number inside the bag.
And none of my recipes match the serial number in the bag.
The serial number in the bag itself seems to be the only proof of authenticity for each particular bag.

I’m sorry to hop on here but I too am considering buying my first YSL from Farfetch, I have my eyes on the small black WOC. It’s €100 cheaper there than e everywhere else at €895, and with a code it’s coming in at €843. I’m just wondering is there a way of seeing exactly where it’s coming from before I buy? All it says on site is that it’s coming from their marketplace in the Netherlands, but I can’t see a specific name. I’d like to buy from a place that definitely checks everything before they send, I’ve heard horror stories of people ending up with fakes as some stores don’t have adequately qualified people checking the returns etc. If I buy from Farfetch I’ll save in excess of €150 on the bag but maybe I should just pay the price extra to buy direct from SL for peace of mind?
Thank you

Hi, I don´t think there is a way to find out the exact contractor, who is sending the items. But I have received 2 YSL bags from their marketplace seller in the Netherlands and both came from Browns (brownsfashion.com). All the bags I got were in very good condition, but the first one they sent me had the wrong color so I had to return it (which was not a problem at all).

If you search for who they partner with in the Netherlands, these are some of the boutiques they list. I clicked on each one, and only 2 listed Saint Laurent as being the brands they offer. So my guess is it would come from one of these 2 boutiques if from the Netherlands. You could always call both boutiques and ask how they ship their products (ie: dust bag and box, or just dustbag, etc) if that’s important to you.

So I bought the small woc and while I’m happy with the bag itself I’m not sure about the chain. I did so much research, looked at mod shots of the bags on various heights and the drop seemed longer which is one of the reasons I chose the smaller WOC. I’m just wondering if anyone here has the small woc and could tell me how long it should be, as in the total length of the chain when measured end to end? I feel like I may have been sent the wrong one but I’d like to double check before I complain! It’s the chain that has the leather strap at the top. I’m shorter than a lot of the models that were showing off the bag but when I wear it crossbody it’s sitting above my waist, and it seemed to drop quite a bit longer on them.
