It's a good size bag. I'm 5'8' and it hits perfectly on my shoulder.

Comfortable on the arm too. But I warn you like most Coach bags, it is heavy. The leather is thick and the hardware is not skimpy. Even without anything in it, it has weight.

That wording came from the original care instructions that were given out with NYC made bags in the 70s and 80s.
