It was the smaller top handle in black. My SA told me that he had just received those two colours. I had wanted to see the flax but he said he didn't know whether it was coming or not. I hope you get to see it!!
Thank you! Stupid question, but for clarification, are you in the US? I only as because the UK site does show black but I was told no black. I'm on the east coast, Philly area. Want to be sure before I hound my SA!

You are right!! I'm not from the US. I'm in Singapore. But the coach website doesn't have it yet either. Maybe you could call JAX? It has the same style number as the flax and the cerise. It is very beautiful. The hardware is matte black. And the mixed leathers are just gorgeous!! I haven't bought it yet as I need to bring in another bag to exchange.
3 months ago, I bought the Dinky 24 in the Souvenir Sky pattern in haircalf. Because of the high humidity, the black dye from the haircalf leaked onto the beautiful internal orange lambskin. After wearing the bag about 5 times, I realized that there were these funny shapes of trees and mountains on the orange side. I then realized that they were from the haircalf side. [emoji17][emoji17][emoji17][emoji17]
I showed it to my SA and he sent the picture to Coach HQ Asia. Luckily, as I am a VIP member (Asia has this VIP scheme), they said I could exchange it for any other bag of the same value or more. I'm happy that I can exchange it but I am sad because I loved the bag so much. The souvenir sky pattern is just beautiful.
Interesting story for sure! The UK has the small in black up on the site. I cannot imagine they wouldn't get it here...maybe it'll be a dept store exclusive or something. Patience is not my strong suit, particularly when it comes to handbags! I guess I have no choice.

Gorgeous bag! If you want the black, it is worth a call to JAX to see if you can order it now. Sometimes they have a few at JAX even when an item is an overseas exclusive. If it is really an overseas exclusive, you won't be able to get it later unless it makes it to FOS.Interesting story for sure! The UK has the small in black up on the site. I can relate to being impatient while waiting for the new bags to come out. Sometimes, the bags take ages to get to Singapore. So we just have to wait.... [emoji15]

It's definitely an option, and probably the best way to get your hands on those overseas exclusives (not sure if the black is). I called and they had the exotic large colorblock in stock, but wanted to wait for September and see if it'll be included for PCE. Hope that one will make it to the US! Impatiently waiting for the Coach website to upload with the rest of that new floorset...
I went to my fp earlier to see these bags. In the small I saw the flax, the black exotic, the burgundy exotic and a bright pink. In the bigger size, they had the oxblood and a blue snake skin with what looked likes lapis azuli adornments. OMG. I loved them all. The larger ones have a breakaway zipper and 2 handles that lay flat if you opt to use the long strap.

Attached is a mod shot photo of the smaller top handle Drifter in flax. Pardon the pjs! For reference, I am 5' 7" & 130 lbs. Although I am still unsure about the flax color. I will put my stuff in it & take & post a shot loaded up later.
Also, I WAS able to order the black by calling JAX! I got the confirmation & they said it should ship Monday. Thank you for suggesting this!
