It a nice looking pebbled leather, but it doesn't look any different from other pebbled leathers they've had, nothing special as far as looks......Maybe it has a better texture though?

A lot of the recent leathers have left a lot to be desired in the 'feel appeal'. The leather just isn't nice and squishy, too many of their leathers have been too stiff and plastic like.

The first 'generation' of Kelsey bags had soft 'petable' leather, the second round had stiff plastic feeling leather.

Sadly, i agree just this past week i was at a boutique and i was a bit taken aback by the feel of some of the new bags. Not what i was expecting ...

And it is not like Sophia was that long ago. I remember they did that with Audrey's that were a year apart, remember the Audrey satchel and then they had those Tote bags out like a year later?

Is this world short on names or something? Why in the heck does Coach reuse names for bags that look nothing alike?

There are new totes on Coach.com and they are named Sophia....... :amazed:

Yes, that is so confusing! I have an Audrey tote.

For that matter, I have a Dakota (no h) from the 90s that is nothing like the recent Dakotah, and a Gramercy from the 90s that is also nothing like the recent Gramercys. I also had a swagger from the 90s (no relation). I would like to find a Dakota Rider from the 90s, which doesn't look like the love child of Dakotah and Rhyder.

Ahahahaha. Coach has quite a few versions of "love children!"
