Fall 2015 - Closer Look at Bags and Outerwear

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone again for their words of comfort during my little ... well, meltdown yesterday. My thread on the nightmare of my last few months, the reveal of the orange Ruby bag (small Coach bag) I just purchased, and my own, living "orange Ruby parrot". (Thread now moved to animalicious ... sigh ... yeah well.)

I am going to get the orange feather as one of my goodies during PCE, I am going to attach it to the orange bag, I am going to "re-reveal" it here, and I am going to include another pic of my other "orange feathered Ruby birdie" with it. Heh. ...... But again, thank you everyone for the words of comfort.

I have some more pics. I *think* they're all new ... please correct me if any of these are actually out there already. (I wasn't looking much at bags at all over the summer, so I'm still trying to refamiliarize with what's out there and what isn't.)

And I just wanted to comment that I'm looking at a few of these new ones I've discovered over the last week or so, and wondering *how* they came from the same hands and minds, as that Shadow bag I almost melted over at the boutique the other day? Or Nomad or Ace. I'm not trying to be critical of *anyone's* opinion, I promise. It's just that a few of these pics I've posted lately in this thread .... like that orange furry bag from a few days ago .... or that "thing" on the purple one below .... how does that come from the same people who are giving us Shadow/Nomad/Ace/Rip&Repair/etc. ????

The last the color is great, but not sure on the chain and WTH is that on it? a fuzzy wuzzy lol

At least that one has a face, the one on that swagger is odd... i cannot figure out if it's a bear or a blob lol

I can't wait to see. I'm interested in the medium size and was miffed that it's excluded from PCE but sorta get that it's an anniversary addition. As I told the SA, I HAVE to be sure it's worth it so I'm eager to hear your thoughts.

I'm sorry your thread was moved. It was a reveal, after all. There have been reveals before with stories to them that haven't been moved. Good for you to reveal your orange feather when you get it and re-reveal the orange Ruby!

As of the moment, I have two feathers, one wallet, one Nolita wristlet, and a bag all coming my way. My retail therapy. I'm just gonna lump them into one big PCE reveal, and slip the orange Ruby (both of them ) in as a re-reveal. I may get blindsided sometimes, but I aint stupid.

There are some discrepancies in the coach.com pics of the biker rip and repair shadow... Does anyone know if it comes with a black or oxblood hangtag, the coin on the zipper pull, and if it comes with the nomad tag??

Hi, I had purchased this bag online and was very disappointed (though it's still a fabulous small bag overall). It was not as originally pictured on many of the websites. It does not come with the Nomad tag or coin on the zipper pull. After a few calls to Coach, that was confirmed, and I was told that I couldn't get those items separately either (at least at this point). The hangtag was oxblood, I believe. I returned it, because it was too small for me for everyday and wasn't worth the price (IMHO) for using only sporadically, but it was still a very cool bag. You could adjust the chain strap to two lengths, and the interior was suede, beneath the flap anyway. Hope that helps!

ETA: The little snap feature on the back was not functional, either; just for decorative purposes only. There is not a back pocket of any kind on the exterior.
