I think this would have been better if placed on The authenticate thread if you had concerns. Just my opinion
You're right, I think I posted in the wrong place...(quite new to PF )

Wow this is an incredibly irresponsible post. There is nothing about this bag that "screams" fake. Chanel makes MANY versions of minis, with different stitch counts, slight differences in the CC turnlock, etc. This is a 12 series for goodness sakes! And many posters have had this or remember it from collections.Hey everyone,
I think I just found a fake on Fashionphile, do you agree with me?

It looks so obviously fake that if it is, I can’t believe how it got past control?! Everything is off about it..what do you guys think? I love Fashionphile but the fact this wasn’t picked up during authentification makes me scared...
The first part of your response was very insightfull. The second part however, I think, completely not done. I don't know how you can see this as a attack, I just read it as somebody who was afraid of buying a fake.Wow this is an incredibly irresponsible post. Do you understand that by posting a completely arbitrary and totally unfounded attack on the credibility of Fashionphile like this how much damage you can do to a reputable company? @Vlad please remove this post.
These aren't questions or concerns, they are statements intended as fact. There's a difference between, hey guys, can you help me here and "look at this fake!".The first part of your response was very insightfull. The second part however, I think, completely not done. Just request to have the post deleted entirely. It should not remain up. I know you are new, and not familiar with the rules, but next time if you have a question about authenticity, please put on the authentication forum. There are people here with vast vast knowledge of Chanel that would know this is not a fake or anything close to it. I would encourage you to use the resources and templates available here to ask those experts before assuming. The tone of your post was accusatory as opposed to inquisitive, there is quite a difference between them. I love anything Chanel that is double stitch, so if you like this one, buy it! Good luck.I don’t understand or appreciate the hostile tone of your comment. In my original post you can clearly see I state my concern and ask others if they agree, as I am unsure. I am not an authenticator, I am a customer of Fashionphile (who will continue to buy from Fashionphile) voicing my concerns as, stated in my previous comment, fakes are unavoidable in the pre-loved market even in reputable companies.
Perhaps I could have worded my post better, I agree, but to me this observation was shocking and all I was asking for was opinions as I can’t trust my own. As multiple other users have provided that they have seen this bag and it looks fine, my question is answered. This is the purpose of this forum. Correct me if I am wrong.
Thank you all for the input!
I had no intention to accuse or discredit Fashionphile's authenticity with this post. As Incalifornia7 states, this is an open forum where we can all share and discuss our experiences to better our knowledge and future purchases. It's essential we have such outlets as, lets be honest, everyone can make mistakes. There's been cases where superfakes were returned to Chanel boutiques that were not detected by SA's.
To think that any, even well-regarded vintage re-salers, never can make a mistake in authenticity would be ignorant and dangerous. Authenticity is in reality just a collection of seasoned opinions. Superfakes are a reality we all need to be aware of, regardless of who is selling them. The risk of error/fake is of course lower in reputable companies, but it's still there. So I really appreciate the input, but I don't appreciate the accusations and I'm surprised there were so many negative comments. Afterall, I am a lover of pre-loved and vintage pieces and my post was to voice my genuine concern. Pre-loved is a big, scary place to navigate alone...what's the point of this forum if we can't help each other out!

I agree that it is the tone that makes the music but things can be read different from a screen. I get your point of view, I just don't agree with it.These aren't questions or concerns, they are statements intended as fact.
