I do agree about the outlet bags. The ugly to cute ratio is way off. I tend to look for FP stuff at the coach outlet. I do have a cute mini wallet from the outlet. The men's stuff is nice as well. What I don't like about coach outlet bags is that they don't feel like they are the same level as the FP bags. MK outlet bags seem comparable.

Coach is my first love. I still enjoy several styles from Zoe to Madison collection.

Michael Kors Grayson with chain strap got my attention because I couldn't afford LV.
I love the 5 inside pockets, the 2 outside pockets, the crossbody strap. Just perfect style!.
Also got MK TopZip tote(outlet version), MK Devon messenger, MK Selma messenger.
MK is functional fashion.

I enjoy both brands!

I've looked at Coach bags at the boutiques, outlets, and Macy's, and there's never been a bag that's caught my attention. I've found most of the Coach bags I've seen to either be very childish and young looking, or incredibly boring. Where I live most women carry Coach bags, and I don't want to carry a bag that looks like everyone else's.

Ever since they Coach came out with the Legacy line and pushed it more and more, I've lost interest. I must say Coach's customer service is the best and cannot be beat. I have been looking at MK so much more than Coach and I am planning to sell most of my Coach stuff and just pare it down to several bags not over 10 like i have now. Coach's pricing structure and inventory issues ie: limited editions that aren't limited, FP bags that they make over for MFF store, the super fast deletes. Coach's business practices dont make sense. With all of the changes that are going to and have recently taken placed really turned me off the brand.

I am loving the MKs out right now, I have the grayson en route. I want the Medium Bedford, the EW Saffiano Hamilton satchel and the Medium Lilly. I have one tote from MK.

I'm equal opportunity, however I'll always love Coach for their customer service and amazing return policy. My first experience in an MK outlet store was not pleasant, however the Hamilton in cadet caught my eye at Macy's and I was hooked. I now have 6 MKs, with my med Grayson as my current fave!

I couldn't agree more about the Coach comments. Coach was my very first high end purchase. It was a brown pebbled leather shoulder bag that I no longer use as much, but still love nonetheless. I actually bought it at the Coach outlet, but it's not a MFF bag. I used to be all about Coach, but they don't make bags like the leather bag I bought years ago. Nowadays, EVERYONE carries a Coach siggy bag that they bought at the outlets. I've strayed away from Coach and fell in love with bags from other brands such as MK, Dooney, and Kate Spade.

I'm not much of a leather person, but my first leather bag was MK. I just find the leather really soft and supple and light. And I've continued to buy because of that.

I went from Dooney & Bourke to Coach to MK. I'm hooked on MK. The style and quality of the bags is what keeps me coming back! My bank account would probably prefer that Michael and I break up, though. :shame:

I did almost the same thing. Went from Coach, to Dooney, back to Coach and now MK

Overall, I love both Coach and MK. I'm not exclusively loyal to either brand. Both have bags that make me go  or :yucky:.

Right now, I prefer the MK saffiano totes over Coach's. I love the structured look of the MK Selma over the slouchy look of the Candace. I'm not a huge fan of Coach's siggy prints, and I am even less a fan of MK siggy. I spend more time shopping at the Coach boutique because I am :pokey: by perfume after about 5 minutes in the MK boutique, lol.

I think I've flirted with just about every designer going, but my collection now is Coach, LV, Minkoff and (finally) some MK!. I adored the legacy collection when when they brought out all the thick leather bags (Leigh etc) in 2006 but i think the designs have got either boring or childish.

I don't really do siggy unless it's like Damier, really subtle.

I can safely say there isn't a single bag in the past 2-3 seasons that I've lusted after. Maybe I've grown out of them?

I started with MK and thought I would branch out to Coach. I have bought 3 Coach purses now and have used one once and the other two never. I feel like I would be cheating on MK and just cannot bring myself to use the Coach purses.

I noticed the dept stores are redesigning a dedicated boutique for MK collection.
I see more people at MK area instead of coach. Seems like shoppers are making a shift.
