Fabulous Crocodile Bag or Too Horrid to Wear?

Yes, the whooping cranes are beautiful! So elegant. We go to Aransas every spring break. Sadly the past few years we’ve seen less wildlife and a lot of the small ponds have dried up.

Oh no. I haven't been in years. That is heartbreaking.

I’m wavering between being horrified and thinking it’s cool. I think I’m now leaning towards cool as I can totally see myself carrying this with jeans, tee, blazer and boots!! Hehe. Congrats on a great (albeit scary) vintage find!

I don't know why I like croc or croc textured bags but I don't like this. Maybe because it is too real.

Y'all crack me up. I'm pretty sure the concept of "too real" hasn't been used before on tPF. Every time someone has used it here, it makes me laugh.

I was at Goodwill some time ago, and a woman picked up an armadillo bag complete with head and paws. I said, "Wow! You're going to buy that?" And she said, "Yes, and I am going to wear it. It's great!"

It was too real for me. Just a wee bit too real.

At the end of my post, I had written "I got goosebumps." I deleted it before sending because I didn't want to so strongly object if you do love it. It was enough to just say it's too real.

I carry mostly exotics.

What you have is called Caiman crocodile.

It's much less expensive than the smooth crocodile (sorry)

It's real but not worth thousands

I own a brand new(well one of my kitties chewed the handle) Rodania navy Caiman bag, the rest are crocodile or alligator

I carry that colour but not caiman, it's your bag, keep it if you love it, but it just needs teeth-is a bit scary!xxxxx

I have a Suarez alligator belly, which I find elegant and lovely. I don't wear it frequently, but love it when I do. This, I guess I must keep because it was my MILs, but I will keep it hidden--mostly to protect the feelings of my other bags who shiver every time they catch a glimpse of it.
