Hi Brett, you should feel at home here because the people are very understanding of us guys who likes to shop for bags. From Coach to Chanel! 
i went from those eyes rolled to the point when my DH started appreciating a good bag and even allowed me to get him a few for his own use
it took us some time, but now he respects my hobby and does not make me feel guilty and need to hide my new purchases, which i greatly appreciate.
Hope you and your partner will reach the same point sooner rather than later and understanding and appreciation will be beneficial for you both

Welcome! I do get "looks" from certain people, but my husband thinks it's great and the whole bag thing really amuses him. I think I convinced him that it's because I'm eccentric (I'm not) so it gets a little more respect. He thinks it's "brilliant" and I'm like happy to let him think that.
ETA ok maybe I am a little weird because of the music I listen to and most of what I've learned about the world came from "Bob's Burgers".

Welcome!! I try to ignore comments like that from people. Thankfully my DH is very chill about my bag habit, since I was into bags before I was into him!
