Eyelid surgery in Japan

Had a quick look and from what I can tell it is non incisional double eyelid surgery. I think the 1 vs 2 vs 3 points has to do with how many attachment points are used (not sure about this)… also not says you cannot choose the doctor and if you look at their profiles there is only one plastic surgeon, the others have different backgrounds. They only guarantee that surgery for 3 years as I don’t think it’s considered a permanent “surgery” - there is no cutting.
Yes, I have been contacting Korean clinics and getting random and high prices. So I went back to look at Shonan since prices are very clear, but now also taking them off list for now as they do not offer english consultations or english in clinics (you must bring someone with you who can read, write, speak, etc Japanese).

What's wrong with just hiring an interpreter to come with you?

Yep this guy used to be at SBC. Do you have anyone who's personally gone to him though?

I messaged this guy (yuzuka) using Google translate and he never replied. On Instagram someone asked if he did this for Koreans and he never replied either so I don't think he's ok with doing foreigners. His results look too "dolly" for my taste anyway.

I wish I could read japanese so I can read reviews.

I know some doctors are popular enough that they have a waiting list.

I cannot attest if the the quality of the procedures are the same as japan but SBC does have a location in the US! I've visited the facility and it looks like they are really trying to promote it and the dr they have there is nice and seems very familiar with the DES procedure they have there

So dr.yuzawa did reply to me on the LINE app and we have a consult set up. We'll see how it goes, I cant for the life of me seem to get reviews on this guy even though he seems prolific in japan.

what is the japanese aesthetic vs korea?
I'm planning on traveling to japan for this. I don't speak Japanese and I know most clinics in Japan don't cater to foreigners. Actually they may even refuse to due to liability and all that.

I want it done in Kyoto and prefer Japan over Korea because I like their aesthetic more. Can anyone recommend a clinic in Kyoto or have any experience?

I've got thick lids but I've heard your shouldn't remove fat... Is this true?

Could you provide an update once you have your consult? I’m also in the process to try to get a consultation as well. Thanks!

I used Google translate to communicate with them on LINE and they said they would arrange an English interpreter for me. I decided not to since his aesthetic isn't quite what I like. I'm looking at a doctor in Osaka now.

I was told that Girin in Korea, handles a lot of Japanese and maybe you like to check it out first. I am planning to check on Girin too.

I am not sure if you had them done or fix the issue, but this is my own research on upper eyelids. I wanted to do blepharoplasty when I was late 30s and I went to see the surgeon, but he told me that I didn't need it at that moment. There are so many surgeons who are money makers nowadays and sell as much as possible because many clients don't know anything about the procedure. Now I am over the hill and my upper eyes are drooping due to excessive skin and fat, it may happen to my brow lid dropping as we age, too.
I do my research about my case and that upper blepharoplasty (removing fat and excessive skin) and ptosis correction are needed to fix the issue. I am not sure what is your case though. The upper eyelids are not just fat! Excessive skin drops from the eyebrow bone can also be an issue here as it lost its elasticity. There are two solutions that can be done: upper blepharoplasty with ptosis correction or brow lift; I personally won't do both. Either way, these costs are pretty similar ranging from 3,3 - 4,5 million KRW.
The non-incisional double eyelids surgery can be done only for those who don't have puffy eyes.
I have done my research and come down to two clinics: Banobagi and Braun. Braun has better price compare to Banobagi. The downside of Banobagi is that the Dr. Lee is resigned from the clinic and he was specialized for eyes.
I am doing another research for other clinics at the moment and feel free to contact me for the upper eyelid's case.

I Googled girin. I actually don't like clinics who do all sorts of surgery. If I'm having a facial procedure then I prefer a clinic that focuses only on facial plastic surgery... preferably a surgeon who does eyes only.

Have you gotten a clinic that specialized in eyes only? Do you mind sharing the clinic with me? TIA
